Visibility on Search Engines: SEO Settings

Updated today

SEO & AI SEO Features in Vsble

Vsble lets you manage SEO ( Search Engine Optimization) in two ways: directly for each page in Page Settings → SEO, or more easily in one central place inside SEO → SEO Optimization Hub, where you can review your website SEO at a glance and use AI to improve titles, descriptions, alt text, and sharing previews.

To improve your visibility, log in to your account and check your SEO score in the SEO Optimization Hub.

Vsble uses AI to make SEO faster and easier.

Instead of writing everything from scratch, you can generate SEO content directly inside the SEO Optimisation section.

From there, you can set up your website manually or use AI to help you generate:

  • meta titles

  • meta descriptions

  • image alt text

  • Favicon

  • Open Graph images

This guide explains what each setting means, why it matters, and how to use it.

What the SEO Optimisation section does

The SEO Optimisation section helps you improve how your website appears in:

  • Google search results

  • image search

  • browser tabs

  • shared links on WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Facebook, X and other platforms

You can use it to optimise your whole website and individual pages.

Why SEO matters

SEO means Search Engine Optimisation.

In simple words: SEO helps search engines understand your website.

Good SEO helps your website:

  • appear more clearly in search results

  • look more professional when shared

  • make images easier to understand

  • improve trust before someone clicks

  • become easier to find by name, service, topic or location

Global SEO vs Page SEO

In Vsble, SEO works on two levels.

Global SEO

Global settings apply to your whole website.

These include:

  • site title

  • site description

  • favicon

  • default Open Graph settings

Use global SEO to define the general identity of your website.

Page SEO

Each page can also have its own SEO settings.

This is important because every page can have a different purpose.

For example:

  • homepage

  • about page

  • services page

  • portfolio page

  • product page

  • landing page

  • contact page

Each important page should have its own title, description, URL and sharing preview.

You can set these manually or manage them in the SEO Optimisation section.

Meta title & Meta Description

You can write this manually or let Vsble AI generate it based on your page content - and then edit manually as well. The AI creates the Meta descriptions based on best practices of Google respecting character count, avoiding keyword stuffing and bad phrasing.

Meta Title

The meta title is the clickable headline people see in Google search results.

Why it matters

A clear title helps people understand what the page is about before they click.

It also helps search engines understand the topic of the page.

Example

Instead of:

Home

Use:

Maya Chen — Fashion Photographer in Berlin

You can write this manually or generate it with AI in the SEO Optimisation section.

Meta description

The meta description is the short text shown below the title in search results.

Why it matters

It gives people a reason to click your website.

A good description explains what visitors will find on the page.

Example

Explore selected fashion, beauty and editorial photography projects by Maya Chen, a Berlin-based photographer.

Open Graph

In Vsble, you can upload your own Open Graph image, select one from your uploaded gallery images, or generate one with AI.

For portfolio websites we recommend picking the open graph from the page content, or uploading your own image. You can generate with AI for corporate pages or for pages that have no visual content.

To create an open graph from your content, pick the image that represents best the content and will appear in the preview on shared links. The Open graph is fixed ratio accepted by social media cards, that is : 1200×630px , there for when you choose the image, we have created a crop help-tool to select the image crop to fit that area perfectly on your Open Graph and to be perfectly aligned with requirements.

Open Graph controls how your website looks when someone shares a link on platforms like:

  • WhatsApp

  • LinkedIn

  • Facebook

  • X

  • Slack

Why it matters

Shared links often create the first impression before someone visits your site.

A good Open Graph preview makes your link look more professional and more clickable.

Open Graph includes:

  • preview image

  • title

  • description

You can set Open Graph globally or individually per page.

Custom URLs / Slugs

A slug is the part of the URL after your domain and can defer from the page "Title" that is visible to the user or that you named your page. It is important for good visibility and indexing to have slugs that are clear and related to your content.

Why it matters

Clean URLs are easier to understand for both visitors and search engines.

They also look more trustworthy when shared.

Example

Instead of:

yourwebsite.com/page-1

Use:

yourwebsite.com/services

Or:

yourwebsite.com/fashion-photography

You can edit slugs manually for each page.

Image alt text

Alt text describes what is visible in an image. Describing each image individually can be really time-consuming. We've implemented a best - practice Ai solution to auto generate Alt-text for individual images or across your entire portfolio.

Why it matters

Alt text helps:

  • search engines understand your images

  • improve accessibility

  • improve image SEO

This is especially useful for photographers, artists, designers, brands and anyone with image-heavy websites.

You can generate Alt-txt individually for each image, or bulk-generate for all images. In both cases you can edit the Alt text manually after to ad for example details like famous people names or places that AI might not detect.

Example

Instead of keyword stuffing like:

photographer berlin fashion best photo editorial

Use a natural description:

Editorial fashion photo of a model wearing a red coat in a studio

The AI features simplifies that process dramatically adding very consistent and thorough descriptions following best practices that Goole and other search engines love.

Favicon

The favicon is the small icon shown in browser tabs and bookmarks.

Why it matters

It makes your website feel more professional and recognisable. Websites habe only ONE favicon, so you can set it up in the Global Website SEO setting. You can upload your custom favicon or generate it with AI.
