How to Update DNS for a Domain Bought on Vsble.domains
Vsble also sells domains through vsble.domains. You can use those domains with Vsble or connect them to any other service you like.
If you bought your domain before the new Vsble 2.0 update and want to reconnect it to your website, you may need to update the DNS A records to the new server IP.
Why do I need to update my DNS?
Older domains may still point to the previous server IP:
94.130.249.72
To reconnect your domain to your Vsble 2.0 website, you need to replace it with the new IP:
77.83.141.231
What DNS records need to be updated?
You need to make sure both A records exist and point to the new IP:
@www
This is important so your website opens correctly both ways:
yourdomain.com
How do I update the DNS in Vsble.domains?
1. Log in to your Vsble.domains account
Open your domain admin dashboard.
2. Open your domain settings
Click Manage next to the domain name.
3. Go to DNS settings
Open the Nameservers and DNS tab.
4. Find the old A records
Look for the A records:
@www
If they still point to:
94.130.249.72
they need to be updated.
5. Update the @ record
Click Edit next to the A record for @.
In the popup window:
enter
@replace the old IP with:
77.83.141.231
Click Save.
6. Update the www record
Click Edit next to the A record for www.
Replace the old IP with:
77.83.141.231
Click Save.

How do I reconnect the domain in Vsble?
After updating the DNS records:
1. Go to your Vsble account
Open the website you want to connect to the domain.
2. Open domain settings
From the top-right dropdown, select Domain & Legal.
3. Scroll to the custom domain field
If the field is empty:
enter your domain withoutwww
Example:yourdomain.com
Then click Connect.
After a few seconds, you should see a confirmation that the domain is connected.
If a domain is already entered:
click Check DNS & Refresh Status
This will refresh the connection and reconnect the domain.
Should I enter the domain with or without www in Vsble?
Enter it without www.
Example:
yourdomain.com
Vsble will use the DNS setup to make sure the site also works with www, as long as both DNS records are present.
Why do both @ and www need to exist?
Because people may visit your website in two different ways:
without
www→yourdomain.comwith
www→www.yourdomain.com
If only one record is set, one version may work while the other does not.
To avoid this, always make sure both @ and www A records are present and point to the same IP:

What if the domain does not connect immediately?
DNS changes can sometimes take a little time to update, but in many cases it works quickly.
First check that:

Can I use a domain bought on Vsble.domains somewhere else?
Yes. Domains bought on vsble.domains are not limited to Vsble. You can also use them with other website or hosting services if you want.
